Funmi Adeleye-Oladejo

I love construction, the process of building something so essential and useful makes me so content. I am constantly fascinated by the entire process, from the design process all the way to construction. A beautiful process I must say. Growing up in Lagos Nigeria, an only child, my friends and I would walk around the streets looking at different construction sites and admiring the structures. Every now and then we would get lucky and find a foreman on site and ask questions and they would indulge our curiosities.

I graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minor in International Finance. My first job right out of college was at a construction company. Ooh what joy! I took a project management certification course later to boost my knowledge and it’s been a wonderful journey. I totally love and enjoy what I do.

I am blessed with 3 kids and my hubby is my best friend. We met in college. I love reading, traveling, and cooking. I love God, He is my anchor!
