The Vision
Nestled in the forests of Colorado, this rustic new home was thoughtfully designed for grandparents who wanted to live close to their children and grandchildren. This project was especially meaningful, as it marked the first home our company brought to life from the ground up.

The Transformation
Each phase brought new challenges and opportunities for growth, resulting in a home that feels deeply personal and reflective of the family who lives there.
Seeing the clients’ joy and gratitude as each space came together was incredibly rewarding—truly a special experience.

The Details
The materials selected for this home are timeless, durable, and easy to maintain—perfect for a space designed to be well-loved and well-used by family. The stone featured on the island was sourced from the clients’ own mountain property, adding a deeply personal and meaningful touch. Cherry cabinetry from Waypoint was chosen for its natural variation and warmth, while lighter painted cabinets help brighten the space. Thoughtfully designed areas were also incorporated to showcase sentimental antiques and artwork, creating a home that feels both lived-in and uniquely theirs.

Client Testimonial
"Our 1500 Sq Ft house built by Stewart Construction is everything we wanted it to be. From the architect, to the design team to the project manager, we were given the information needed and the appropriate amount of direction to be able to make the choices that gave us the spaces we love. This pleasant and enjoyable building experience resulted not only in a home we love to be in, but also in a good memory of the process. We highly recommend Tom Stewart and his entire team who consistently treated us with care and respect." — Connie H.
